DEADLINES FOR DOCUMENTATION SUBMISSION FOR THE FINAL MASTER DEGREE EXAM IN CHEMISTRY AND ADVANCED CHEMICAL METHODOLOGIES (LM-54)

40 days before the master graduation session

1. Log in to the “Didattica Unicam” portal with your credentials

Click on “laurea-conseguimento titolo” and follow the steps of the procedure to complete the online graduation application.

In particular, you must download, fill out and re-upload the file with the graduation application 

Documents to upload in digital format:

- graduation application

- thesis cover page, in Italian and English, signed by the supervisors and the student

2. Via PagoPA, make the payment of €32.00 as soon as possible and in any case by the graduation session date (if the payment is not made, the system blocks the insertion of the thesis).

3. Fill out the ALMA LAUREA survey

40 days before the master graduation session

You can take the last exam

You must hand in any books borrowed from libraries

14 days before the master graduation session

Log in to the “Didattica Unicam” portal with your credentials

- click on “laurea-conseguimento titolo” > “complemento tesi/gestione allegati tesi”

- upload the final thesis file in PDF/A format

NOTE: the thesis must include the title page signed by the Supervisor(s) and the student (with abstract where required), and it must consist of a single PDF/A file with a maximum size of 30 MB.

After completing the thesis upload procedure, the Secretariat will check the information entered and the uploaded file.

Within 2 days, the student will receive a message inviting him/her to re-access to the “laurea-conseguimento titolo” section, where the button: Richiesta benestare will appear.

By clicking on “yes” and “Next”, the request will be completed.

In the meantime, after uploading the thesis, the Supervisor will receive an email: "Insertion of final attachment" informing her/him that the student has uploaded the final thesis.

The Supervisor accesses his/her ESSE3 page > Degree Achievement​ > Assigned Graduates​ > Actions > click on the paperclip icon for each thesis to be approved.

The "Thesis Attachments" page opens. The Supervisor goes to Actions > click on "Approve attachment" > in the new page check the box at the bottom "...autograph signature" and click on "Approve attachment".

Finally, following the Request for approval by the student, the Supervisor receives a second email: "Request for approval" which informs him/her that the student has requested approval to graduate.

The Supervisor accesses his/her page ESSE3 > Degree Achievement​ > Assigned Graduates​ > Actions > click on the red icon "Registration of thesis approval" for each Graduate who requests approval to graduate.

The Supervisor clicks on "Register thesis approval", completing the procedure.

N.B.:

- The thesis must be written in English with a short abstract in Italian

- The slides for the final presentation must be in English but the language of the presentation can be English or Italian at the choice of the student.

- 10 CFU related to the Chemistry Project will be recorded by the Course Coordinator after receiving from the Supervisor the attestation that a preparatory work for the thesis equal to 250 hours has been carried out

- During the final discussion the student acquires the remaining 30 CFU
