Optional activities Master Degree in Chemistry (LM54)
During the course, students can acquire up to 30 CFU of Optional Activities.
The information provided below is also available in the Student Guide, which students are encouraged to consult for further details.
Specifically, students may choose activities based on their interests and the educational offerings in the thematic areas of the most innovative research sectors, selecting a total of 30 CFU.
In detail: 20 CFU must be chosen from Type C activities among those proposed and 10 CFU can be selected as Type D activities, freely chosen by the student.
Each optional activities of type C activity listed below allows the acquisition of 5 CFU.
Optional activities of type D may also be selected from the type C activities offered by the degree program or from other degree programs offered by the University, subject to approval by the Course Coordinator.
The total of 30 CFU can be acquired, for example, by choosing 6 type C activities from the list below.
Alternatively, students may choose fewer optional activities and acquire the remaining CFU by participating in various initiatives promoted by Unicam, such as: Thematic Days, Seminars, Conferences, etc., which grant free-choice credits.
Information about these activities promoted by Unicam is sent to students via their university email and published on the university website.
To select optional type C and D activities, students must prepare a printed study plan.
This can be done by editing a simple text file (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.) containing the complete study plan, listing both the mandatory exams and the chosen activities.
The file must include: Student’s Name, Surname, and ID Number, name of the degree program (in this case: "CHEMISTRY – CLASSE LM54"), list of mandatory exams and selected optional activities.
If optional type D activities from other degree programs have been selected, the study plan file must be sent via email to the Coordinator of the LM-54 program, Prof. Rita Giovannetti (rita.giovannettii@unicam.it), who will reply with approval or suggest possible changes.
The file must then be printed, signed in original, and submitted to the Didactic Manager, who will enter the selected activities into the online Study Plan.
To take the exams related to the selected Type C and D activities, the study plan must be submitted and approved beforehand.
